Circa £8m for a solitary goal and one outstanding performance, in his opening game against Liverpoo.
That's almost identical to RvW's track record here and we all know how the majority feel about him.
And I see he has been quoted as saying:- Naismith: I'll Do All I Can To Get Norwich Promoted"
Well, for eight million folding ones, squire, I wouldn't expect any less! You didn't do a great deal to help the cause between January and May :emoticon-0106-cryin

I think Naismith could be an outstanding player for us this season, and it wouldn't surprise me to see him made captain.

Quite a bold statement, Dorset. I'd be interested to know what makes you think that.

£15m for McCormack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like the Fulham managerial people are smoking some funny stuff.
The Redmond saga has run its natural course - he was never going to stay at NCFC as we all knew. So who's next? What's happening to Mbokani? Can't see a certain T. Klose staying unless other clubs don't want to stump up at least £12m. Brady may be in demand if he has a good European Champs - we would need at least £10m for him. It's going to be a long summer.............................................

The big difference is in the past Naismith has shown he is capable of being a PL quality player. RvW wasn't even up to championship football.

For me the big difference is what he once did, he seems unable to replicate recently.
And for the best part of £8m, that sucks <ok>

Don't think he ever showed he was a quality player, spent most of his time at Everton on the bench, seems people are only looking at his hat trick. He was truly awful for us last season, don't see any evidence of him being any better in the Champ.

And in terms of captain, not for me.
I'd prefer Jonny Howson...if he's still at the club.

He came from Everton last year where he hardly ever played. He didn't really look fit for us and picked up a few injuries. Let's hope he has a good pre season in terms of getting fit and hit the ground running. I recall Iwan not being very good in his first season.

I don't think there's any excuse for NOT being fit, he's a professional footballer on massive wages, it's his responsibility to be at his peak! If he wasn't fit then WHY did the manager keep picking him when we all knew what was at stake?
If as you suggest he's still struggling to get fit, then we should unload him straight away, it's an appalling situation for a professional to be in.

It feels now like we are a carcus and will be picked off by any predator. I also see that Leicester's team are starting to be taken apart as well. Such is football run by money men.
