We're told to vote remain because this country can no longer sustain itself without the help of the EU. Well sir, that is a dare I'm prepared to take.

I have thought long and hard about which way I will vote, and can see positives and negatives on both sides of the argument...I still haven't decided which way I will vote, but I feel is if I'm leaning more towards the in camp..

Agree completely. The comments Billy & co make about the EU being completely corrupt are spot on but ...

... a racist campaign led by Farage & Johnson just makes me want to puke. It's always been the favourite of the Tories. It's never the fault of the rich. It's always the fault of the Jews-Irish-blacks-Lithuanians-whoever are the latest immigrants.

I can't vote anyway as I'm an ex-pat, but I would probably vote Remain. With ****-all enthusiasm.

A famous quote from Tony Benn

This is the problem with the EU, controlled by the unelected EU Commission.

At least with our own government we at least have the chance to vote them out of power (although we always end up saddled for more bloody politicians). We don't have any way of getting rid of those at the top of the EU.

The electoral commission has said that polling cards have been wrongly sent to 3,462 EU citizens, who are ineligible to vote in the EU referendum <doh>

Everybody makes their mind up and unless you're on the fence, the opposition argument is nothing more than laughable trollop.

    That's politics.

We all get along on here, mostly and I'll be forgetting everybodys political views and moving on after the vote, politics isn't worth dividing the fam up on here.

I think you're only partially right here Vince.

If we vote to remain then the people will have spoken in what was a once in a lifetime opportunity to leave. We will have seen sense and the Government will claim credit for the clarity of their message and for working hard for our well being.

If we vote to leave then I suspect there will be another referendum within 5 years to give us the chance to change our minds as clearly we won't have thought it through properly. The Government will blame the Leave campaigners for mis-leading us.

I voted to join the EEC (European Economic Community) as it was then, generally considered a progression of EFTA (European Free Trade Area).

Free trade is what was on offer within a small group of countries, now it seems it's more about political control and progression towards, for want of a better description, the United States of Europe.

We have very little say in how this works now and in future will have to accept whatever laws, rules etc., decided upon by the European Parliament.

I didn't vote for that, I also consider the massive cost of the EU parliament to be indefensible, though they don't have to defend it to anyone. By their own figures, it cost 1,795 Billion Euros in 2105, including moving the entire parliament from Brussels to Strasbourg once a month for 4 days.

I know that for most people, the easiest decision is not to change, stick with what we know, good or bad. Ive been in business for myself for the past 38 years, I wouldn't still be in business if I hadn't taken risks and changed things when I thought there was a chance for better.

I'd like us to try it again on our own, take the chance, for the above reasons and many others, and despite the fact that the short term damage to my own business could be significant,

    I'm voting out.

Why is it racist to worry that the amount coming in outweighs vastly those leaving?

Where will people live? 10 to a bedroom like some poor buggers have to coming to this land of milk and honey?

As a knock -on, how is the NHS supposed to cope?

Yeah, I'm hearing that also. I worry because local hospitals can't cope, there's 30 kids in my nine year olds class & more turn up every term. Every field I drive past has a new housing development but the local toilets are shutting because the council can't afford it. More people flooding into this tiny island should worry every person who gives a damn about it!
