As a Swans fan I was glad to see the back of him, totally out of his depth in the PL however far better suited to the Championship imo. Good luck to him and to Leeds for the coming season.
Don't listen to numpty sour grapes swans fans ffs......just look at his record and it speaks for itself and listen to top managers who have nothing but praise for monk for the way he turned Swansea around in a very short space of time.....and for the idiots playing the sheep rubbish monk is a full blooded Englishman and is a big England supporter ..
well said swanseaandproud ... Monk took Swans to 8th in Prem, huge achievement ... as always happens, a bit of a bump in the road and chairman panicked ... I was amazed when Monk got sacked, but grateful now that he is at Leeds Here's something else ... I've heard that Cellino originally wanted Monk but there were stipulations that needed to be met and Cellino wavered ... in his usual "I'll show you" style Cellino flew off the handle and tried to find another Hockaday ... thankfully his "choices" lacked character and we have Monk Interesting that when he was asked about player selection and tactics Monk stated that it never came up for discussion when he signed ... it still seems too good to be true that Cellino has hired a strong manager, but it may be that he is starting to understand that he needs to step up and behave if he wants to get into the £170m league ... his appointment of Niccolo Barattieri as a director is another decent move, he was at Sunderland and is well connected in the business world, so let's see if he is a stabilising influence on Cellino Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You talk Premier league this time every year Davey Jones - May, June and July are the best times for Leeds fans
Morning all. Next season our likely position in the league will come down to who Monk is able to bring in and whether or not Cook and co. have to move on to balance the books. We know we need a 20 goal a season striker. I also think we need a CB big enough and experienced enough to marshal the back 4. Any news on outgoings?
And you talk about playing in the big championship league, but may isn't the best of times for Millwall fans.
Youre bladdering on about teams qualifying for the Europa league or trying to . Your football knowledge is pub stuff and will remain so, over the hill cast offs like Morrison and the legend Harris in charge. Give us a break TC, or more importantly, give yourself one
Who knows as not even you can predict the future. Remember, according to you, Derby where shoe ins for promotion
Don't mention the fortune he was going to make when Evans got sacked in March-April a bet TC had as well
For your sake, youd better hope he doesnt start predicting Engerland win the Euros or you neednt bother even going.Oh, hang on a minute, I think he already has
I am prepared to have a stab. We won't finish as high next season and monk won't be here by Christmas if Cellino is still in charge.
