Probably should be in the history thread, and possibly already are. I stumbled on a few videos when looking for something else, and just thought they were interesting, even if it's just for the memories of the club, city and fans.
Thank **** we now have BBC Hull and no longer have to suffer Harry 'Rugby League' Gration - at least that is a change for the better. That feller in the middle doesn't seem to know the name of his team the Hairly Bairds. Similar ignorance in his offspring tubby and edna lard who he indoctrinated to watch the 'Hairly Bairds' who now seem to be better known as the 'Black and Whites'. Did they film this in Rugby Tavern in town I wonder?
I enjoyed it - it brought back memories of how it was then. Buffoons of all ages rushing to get on the RL bandwagon to enjoy the glory days against Cas at Headingley as we laboured in the 3rd tier. Credit to the real Hull fans of the time, all 1,500 of them, who stuck with their teams through thin and thin, but I'm sure they would have laughed as we all did at these sad know nowts falling over themselves to declare their black and white allegiance
Kudos to the chap on the left for managing to remember and pronounce correctly the venue of the forthcoming 'big' game.
