Swans have announced two pre-season fixtures so far...They are ........more to add Bristol Rovers .July 23rd 3pm Wolves July 30th .3pm
Yeah easy to get to for a change except when we play port talbot like we nearly always do......I see no benefit playing anyone in the welsh league tbh.
There must be at least 3 or 4 to be announced yet and you can bet two will be l.o.w opposition which quite frankly are a waste of time that maybe our U21's should play.....I don't mind any league opposition and one biggy from abroad as our last game where we can gauge if the players are up to speed.......
Stop swearing roof...... No seriously we usually play cardiff at least twice a year but its always behind closed doors.....
I think the reasons are two fold , what could we learn from playing them and they're called friendly for a reason
I just about remember the 1990 ? game at their place and one a couple of years ago at Landore but they're not a regular occurrences .The academy kids play them and have this year twice (winning both games at U12's) but with mixed results for the other age groups.
I know for a fact that we have played them behind closed doors when we and them dont have a fixture for a length of time....You would be surprised how close the teams are in reality..
another quality fixture. http://www.southwales-eveningpost.c...preparations/story-29313877-detail/story.html
Oh god it's all very uninspiring stuff. Who decides on these fixtures? Some small club thinking going on here. We're an established Prem Club and this is the best we can come up with? For ****'s sake.
WTF.... Ki delayed his " War Games " and is playing in 2 friendlies for South Korea in June .... which means he will miss the start of our season apparently . Hope there is a reflection on his pay stub .
And here is another quality pre season friendly, I think they have their dates mixed up http://www.swindon.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=448742
Yes add Swindon to the list and that will be the three league clubs sorted, all we need now is the two LOW clubs and we will nearly if not there with our pre season fixtures.......Its a pity they are not as quick at bringing players in.....
I wouldn't mind him getting shot in the testicles, might force him to grow a new pair of balls for next season.
Fully agree. Sell him and use the money to sign Joe/another midfielder. He committed nothing to the relegation fight.
