Bit harsh on Wes, Dave. He's done far more for this club than Redmond ever did.

OK, he's a bit hit and miss these days, but at 34 it's not surprising. He was some player when we bought him in 2008. Wouldn't mind a similar player now.

I think Redmond shew in the England shirt, what he can do if he is allowed to play. He ripped everyone apart.

 

Can't really blame him if he does move on. All season his strongest RM position has been shared around, Redmond, Jarvis, Vadis, Howson...
I reckon a settled role in a team who use his pace and have a top creative midfielder and he'll thrive.
Got a bit stagnant here, but that's the old 'pegs in holes' argument and there's no point in that now

We wont put the money towards a CB or Striker, or the 2 of each we probably need. We will go out and buy another Defensive Centre Midfielder, like we always do.

Thinking about it, trying to recruit a top CEO and still being ready for the transfer window is bound to be awkward? I'd feel far more confident about things if McNally was still at the club but that's just me

 

I would have liked to have heard some news by now. At least that we had a target or something to fill the position.

 

He shouldn't need to wait to be allowed to play, he should make things happen, he hasn't done that for us, for some reason he seems to think he had a right to be in the team
and far to often just wandered around not contributing so we played those games with 10 men. Couldn't understand WHY Alex Neil allowed that happen, it's his job to motivate, he failed with Redmond.

 

If he's been told to do a role, that is more limited, he has to do what he's instructed to do. Southgate obviously told him to go out there, and scare the sh*t out of defenders.
