That's assuming you'll snack though. What if you have the yoghurt and fruit and don't snack? I have a fruit and veg smoothie for breakfast and a salad for lunch every day and I don't snack. And grilled bacon ****s on fried every time.
The people who didn't eat the bacon and egg couldn't do as much work for as long, they tested this via exercise, so if you sit at a desk it probably doesn't apply. Fruit and veg smoothies were another thing on the programme, if you drink them for their antioxidant properties, you're wasting your time as they haven't got any. You need to eat the fruit and veg whole for it to have an antioxidant properties, if you blitz it it disperses in your stomach before any of it gets a chance to make it into your bloodstream. If anyone else needs any health tips just let me know.
Hmm I like that idea. Sliced boiled eggs are fine. I'm just pleased I didn't mention to the cow that I sometimes I have a pineapple fritter on the side with me fish and chips, because guaranteed she wouldn't have thought, like me, that it's a legit one of me 5 a day for fruit/veg.
Just finished my large haddock and chips from Harper's at Brandesburton. Nice but not the best. I took the kids after telling them it's national fish and chips day, it was empty and kids asked if anyone knew it was national fish and chips day, it appears the chippy didn't know.
Mrs Tash had booked us into Papa's for tea seeing as how it's national fish and chips day I think she might be a keeper ! (Not a goalkeeper though)
I had Haddock and Chips for me dinner yesterday in Scunny . Its a Bob Carvers but they dont do patties. Weird. They also do Greek meals in the restaurant attached. Weirderer
Well I was at work. Well skiving off work to go eat. I also ate in that London last weekend. In the Wethers.
Papa's update Had tea there Food excellent BUT regarding my earlier post the patties are NOT huge. That is fine, but I wouldn't want anyone off here sueing me They tasted lovely, but they are still served with salad, which is weirder than Chazz eating in Scunny Large haddock and chips and mushy peas was excellent, skinned fish and crispy batter Bread was good, very thick cut. Beer selection is good, me and Mrs T both went for Timothy Taylor, daughter's boyfriend was in Estrella and daughter was on some weirdly coloured cider. All served in the correct glasses which is a bonus Staff really friendly and efficient Stuffed now
We went the 30 miles for Saveloys, Mushy Peas & Chips (blame BCC) then a 20 mile diversion for Snugbury's Ice Cream. Honeycomb, Raspbery Pavlova & Cherry Blizzard all in the one cone. Done a little gardening, all good.
Yes, but it's Mrs R that I feel sorry for She isn't getting the exotic options that you get by swanning around Scunthorpe
Tis true. But the bastards have sacked me, so I'm off in a couple of weeks to pastures new to continue my culinary journey.
