There were a few exceptions. Perez wasn't one of them. Gotta be even handed with them all, not pander to reputations/egos etc. He was pretty gash. I'm sure he is good enough to play at PL level though, he just needs time. Still young.
this is probably just paper BS. His OWN twitter feed gushes with love for the Toon and he also now has a Spaniard in Rafa so the kid is staying unless someone pays an 'Andy Carroll' type crazy fee.
True actually but I just think people are too critical of perez because he grafts his arse off but missed chances last season. No doubt the same arseholes that gave Robert **** for being lazy but getting loads of goals and assists Make up your ****ing minds ffs were a **** team so to expect both is a big ask of a young player in a foreign country signed for basically **** all you absolute ****s Good morning X Lv you all really
He had about 6 good games so I'm not convinced with him but just like perez should be allowed to sink before he learns too swim
Agree but feel the lower ability of the Champ will be tailor made for his obvious ability in movement.
Yep I think it will be a good development year for him. Benitez will likely coaching him a lot better too, and teach him to take care of the ball.
I think he needs to learn to find/create space when he's on the ball. Always seems to have it in a crowd of players and loses possession.
Well it can't be good for you can it? Once the initial feel good factor of "I'm like Maradona compared to him" wears off, you are just left with him dragging down your level.
