No particular argument either way about political parties except that both parties allow their political dogma to get in the way of running the country fairly. The present government are fixated on getting into the black through austerity and cuts to public spending and refuse to even think of controlled debt as most on here get by with. Out of the full UK budget it was recently shown that more was spent on banking subsidies than defence or unemployment benefit. Funding of the EU then took up only 0.37% so it boils down to how the government business is reported and with a largely Tory press no prizes for guessing how that is done. Finally, anybody noticed that the world finance is now run by the G8 plus 1. The plus1 is the EU so something is being done right somewhere in that organisation.
Until the EU have their accounts audited, I'm not sure why anybody would want to subscribe. Nobody would marry a girl who is up to her eyeballs in debt, if she wasn't not able to tell you how bad the problem, really is. It would be irresponsible, as you'd be responsible for an unknown debt and you would be putting your families future at risk. Nobody here, who is a sole trader, would go into a partnership with another business, if they couldn't show you their accounts. How would you know the true scale of profit, or debt? Would you take a chance and risk everything you had?
I was watching Question time last night, I'm not sure who was who, there was a young lad on it talking absolute bollocks from the Guardian, I've never seen somebody so flustered talking in front of less than 100 people. There was a lefty labour guy though, older fella, he was firmly in the Brexit camp, and he was actually answering the questions from the audience, rather than swerving them and providing them with figures they never asked for like the rest of the stupid ****ing panel did, especially the Tory idiot who was evidently on a massive period. Anyway, the interesting point he made, was that this is just a precursor, for every other nation who feels hard done by, by the EU. Their general population will see that people who stand up for what they want, can and will demand their own referendums to leave the EU. He was convinced we're the first and if we pull out, it'll go like a house of cards.
There's been a massive swing in the betting, which I've been keeping an eye on. The 'remain' vote has gone from 1/7 to 1/3 and the 'leave' vote has come in from 4/1 to 5/2. One poll has just put the leave campaign in front, for the first time, after a telephone survey, which they say is usually more accurate than online polls.
We can only hope mate. The Brexit campaign is gathering pace by the day and the **** puddles Cameron keeps putting his foot in are only helping it. They're flapping, losing control of the remain campaign because it is being run by a circus who lost the public's trust a long time ago and it's backed equally by the biggest loser I've ever seen in politics, Jeremy Borebyn, I dare say if Bozza wasn't the face of Brexit it'd be much easier for us to convince the fence sitters.
This is the most important vote to face the British public ever. In general elections, every five years you can vote some lot out who you think is a bit ****ish & replace them with an equally ****ish clan. This time is different. Whatever the outcome of this result will be forever. No second chance. A stay vote may not affect you but will most certainly affect your children & grandchildren. Think of them ffs. We wont get another opportunity to free ourselves of these shackles. Watch Brexit the movie, it tells you everything the media doesn't. If Britain leaves I reckon the Danes will be next & the whole house of cards will come crashing down. I've put a lot of time & effort into listening to both sides & there's only one way for me - out. If I convince just one person who was going to vote stay to change their mind I'll be happy. I still think it will go to stay but I live in hope.
Apparently the unions are in favour of remaining. Really? We should take notice of them? They couldn`t even choose the right Miliband and they only had two to pick from. Brilliant.
I think a stipulation of remaining should be that the word 'Great' should be stripped from the name of our nation automatically. Weak Britain would be much more appropriate.
This is something that has crossed my mind, which is also one of the reasons that I'm even contemplating voting no. I firmly believe that being part of a huge market such as the EU is beneficial for us, but I don't like the way that the the EU has gained political power over and above elected nation state governments. Perhaps if the current system did fall apart the EU could get back to what it was originally designed for.
