I think he is mad going to this club that is so badly run, but I wish him all the best and hope he succeeds, what price we draw them in the league cup next year.

There will be no mid ground on this appointment . It will go very , very well or it will be a complete disaster .
Monk's eggs are all in one basket with Leeds . Career fork in the road with a chairman who won't go to bat for Garry the way Jenkin's did .
Good luck to Monk , I believe he will need ever ounce of it he can muster .
If it goes real bad , he may never manage again IMO .

One year is not enough for any manager joining a club in turmoil like leeds.....They are in the state they are because no manager is given time to do what is needed. I hope monk does well...

I wish him well and it was a good move to find another club with whom he has no baggage but Leeds F---k me.

Hope he does well but I think he may have committed career suicide with this Job.

Obviously going for the pay day considering what he said less than 12 months ago about the chairman.

"No manager worth his salt would go there (Leeds) while that crook is in charge" Monk tweeted last year when Redfern got sacked.
A true man of principle is our Garry

I see nothing but an absolute disaster for Monk , I do hope I'm wrong but I can't see him making it through November .

That may have nothing to do with Monks ability, rather than the clown running the club.

Far from eggs in a basket. If he goes after a few months, it is the Chairman again. I think a shrude move. High reward, medium risk and especially considering the lack of opportunities in the Prem. If he gets the boot after a few months another Championship team will go for him unless it goes completely tits up.
He has another shot after this before his Swansea hating wife needs to stick her neck between her gymnastic legs and squirm 'home'

Gotta love the thought that she slagged off living here.....and now gets to leave the Gower to go to Leeds/Bradford MWAHAHAHA!!!

Whats the odds a certain house in Upper Killay doesnt go on the market????

I would certainly think about renting rather than buying if I was him!! I agree with Swim. If he goes after 4 or 5 months then the Chairman will be blamed and Monk gets a huge pay off. If he does well he is quids in. No lose situation for him.

Its a win win situation for monk. If he cant turn them around then nobody will with their chairman. He is definitely good enough by the way he saved us and finishing high up the league with record points in his first season.......

I hope he does well and maybe you are right in that he cant lose as if he fails he blames the Chairman, I think he will be in for a shock though and will struggle to get Leeds going up the league, Their fans seem more than happy with the appointment though.
