Who is the final piece in the jigsaw?

I'd be absolutely astonished AND worried if we didn't.

We are extremely lightweight up front with only Gyan as a recognised proven EPL striker. Sessegnon has been moulded into the new striking force but has no previous pedigree as a regular goal scorer anywhere in his career. He is a supporting player that can nick goals not a striker.

Won & Wickham are new to this league. One is barely 18 years old and the other is only 20, has flown half way around the world in the last 6 weeks or so and has never played in a really competitive league in his life.

Now, if that doesnt scare the ****e of you all then nowt ever will. If Gyan picks ups another injury, say the day after the window closes, it will have us all reaching for the prayer books again for the rest of the campaign. We simply HAVE to bring in a recognised striker before August is out. No question about it IMO.

Think pav would be good for both gyan & sess. Would probably also give young CW good guidance

 

We NEED a striker, for all the reasons already stated. I simply cannot believe Bruce will test his luck again after last season. This is a make or break season for him, an injury to Gyan would leave us in the S***e, therefore, we need another striker.

 

why not welbeck stepped up to the plate why not the two new younguns
