Calm down, we got promoted, a pat on the head isn't really needed, especially from someone you despise so much.

You too will have another owner to protest and complain about before long, so cheer up.

That's precisely why he should have done it
He could {struggling to keep a straight face here} then take the moral high ground

They thought they had won before the game even kicked off which is probably one of the reasons City completely out played them. Their achievement was in reaching the Championship Play Off Final, ours was doing the business in a thoroughly professional manner on the day, when it mattered.
A touch of the Newcastle United's, totally deluded.
For all their massive support which they are still crowing about their team on the pitch never looked like scoring all afternoon and it's Hull City and their empty seats who will be kicking off next season in the Premier League.
The record books show, Hull City 1 Sheffield Wednesday 0 and will do so until eternity.
Nothing about the number of seats sold or how loud they thought they were, just which team won the Final.

And to those who sat at home watching in the pub then have the cheek to moan about the atmosphere at Wembley and City's poor support on the day. Which I think was quite good. All I can remember hearing echoing around Wembley for the last 10 minutes was City voices.

I thought both sides started nervous, but we got better after the opening 10-15 minutes. In a one off game anything can happen, injury to key player, bad ref decision...but thankfully nothing interfered with the result and the best team won.

I thought Sheff Wednesday started exactly as I thought they would by throwing themselves to the floor at every opportunity. When that threat came to nothing and the referee got wise to it their threat diminished and besides a desperate couple of minutes at the end of the game they were thoroughly beaten by a better, more polished, professional team. They could not have complained ( but probably would have done) if they had been beaten three or four nil.

    Ah, ok
    I see what you mean

Weird situation, but criticising the support by those that went is ridiculous, especially if you didn't go

Totally agree. The way they celebrated after the Brighton game you would have thought that they had won the world cup. When Michael Dawson and Curtis were interviewed after the derby game it was all about the next game. We played the game, they played the occasion.....and lost!

So you were happy about Lloyd, Hinchcliffe/Buchanan? No protests on the basis it was their club so they could do what they want?

Over time the events of Saturday might become the Owls equivalent of Leeds famous European Cup win in 1975

Neither do I. Though Lloyd initially meant well but he was another with no connection with football or what is required to run one. He was sold a false premise by the RL chappie who got him involved.
The other two were Sharks. I remember someone coming on CI saying what they were and predicting what would happen immediately they knew of their involvement.
