Speculation here, but I wonder if Evans being sacked yesterday was because Monk wouldn't come for talks while another manager was in post. If so it might be a marker for a different managerial footing with Cellino going forward? Too much to hope for?
I am the charity of my choice... I can pay yours to the society for penniless estate agents if you want. You might be paying up tomorrow if Steve Keane gets the gig....
Have you considered that the eytie Coke snorter probably scours this board for managerial candidates that will piss us of more than hockaday... You have just given him a plan.
It didn't end well for the last bloke who crawled through a desert for a job connected to LUFC. #pillowbiter
I know this is a bit off topic, but how can you say Warnock didn't get funds? At the time he had one of the biggest budgets in the championship to work with including wages. He spent more at Leeds than he did in the summer that QPR ended up getting promoted on the back of.
Also, if Steve Kean is appointed, surely then everyone can actually see just how far we have fallen? That would be an embarrassing appointment.
Josh, he may have had the budget but not the say on the players coming in, I don't know. Never thought that the football his teams played were good but hard to argue against his promotion record and what he did Rotherham was quite amazing. Still can't but hate the **** though
He had full control. This was under Bates remember who didn't really control the transfer front. Warnock pisses me off and he set our squad back years with expensive signings that turned out to be a load of **** (Peltier, Kenny, Pearce, Morison, Norris, Varney etc.).
I remember him having to sell to buy and I remember him wanting the final "marquee" signings that never materialised.
