    Rickie Lambert would be a great foil / strike partner and would take so much pressure of Abel. imo.

    I have always liked him but I wonder if he's too far past his prime or is it he's just not being given a chance?

    Maybe a bit of both. However, IF Lambert helped keep us up next season then it would be worth the outlay. Lambert has a point to prove for sure. For what he would cost it is worth the punt.

    Hull City have wasted far more on less talented / proven players in the past mind.
