Where are all the required goals going to come from. Pre-season is a worry?

Good game to watch. We were unlucky not to win. Hit the post/bar 3 times.

Just got back from the game, I thought Whitts was excellent in the middle , Craig Conway is from what i saw today a worthy replacement for Burke, a more tougher lively version if you ask me. Gerrard Solid, Earnie didnt see much of the ball but always looked dangerous, gestgade needs more matches, Cowie did well for the second game running, ***an pifffff , Taylor looked calm and controlled at left back, naughton had a great game overlapping making some good ground forward at every opportunity looked really fit, loads of positives for me today , one thing we lack is just some more creativity, if we have bellers in on today's performance and structure of the team we be in for a treat this year :)

I thought all the boys played well, another day we could have scored 2 or 3.

Whitts & Cowie played well together and Conway was very good, couldn't see a weak link today, I'm one happy bunny.

Great to see a passing game, a few more games for the boys to gel, they are not far off it.

it was evident that MM has drummed into the team to keep the ball on the floor , move and pass routine as i cant really remember hardly any long balls, even hudson wasnt trying his usual punt up field and hope for the best, we played it out smoothly and it went so much better, to watch that type of football is something we have been starved of for years!.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Mason yet... the boy ran all over the place after everything. Has the makings of a great touch and came close a couple of times. Definitely my man of the match, only downside he is a little on the, well... little side and was muscled out fairly often. Still, an excellent singing and very exciting

Good that al seemed to be playing in thier proper positions, more like the team for the first game. And where was Naylor????
2 bood fullbacks playing in their favoured positions. it has to be good.

Got to agree with all the above. For a 0-0, a very entertaining game to watch. I was impressed with the Taylor - Whitts/Cowie - Conway passing combinations in the first half. From where I was sat, they didn't stop talking to each other either which is unusual to hear (mainly due to the attendance but that soon livened up when little Fabio came on - shame he missed that sitter towards the end :D)

Drew your right about Mason getting muscled out a few times. Def needs to bulk up a bit but bags of potential. Same with Rudy. A few more games and once the forwards start firing, there's some exciting times ahead imo.

I went down thinking I'd spend most of my 90 mins with my head in my program trying to work out who was who. But I could barely keep my eyes off them. Sure, Parma weren't exactly running around looking like their lived depended on a result but the way Whits ran and controlled was very encouraging. Mason (agreed that he's little but) looks an excellent young player indeed and Conway looks a brilliant replacement for Burke. I think it's going to be a hard season but they looked more of a team today than last season. MM has them playing as an unit already and I for one am smiling and can't wait for the first home game. . .

Parma game was today mate (well yesterday as it is now) As 0-0's go it was a good game.

Our boys are still gelling as a team but I'm pretty confident there won't be any onslaught :)

    Good result mate <ok>

To be honest,i think we'll scrape a 1-0,only cos we at home and Parker is still with us.

4-5 weeks ago I'd have expected a pasting but a 1-0 wouldn't be too bad though I think we can get a point at least.
Either way I can see it being a good game View attachment 6041

Thats a tough one to call. It maybe blind faith but as it stands I'd say top 10 but with a few more players to come in possibly push for the Play Offs. A lot of teams haven't really strengthened that much from last season so I think we'll be ok. Will have a better idea once the first 6 or so games are out of the way.
Although if you talk to the Foxes they've already got it sewn up with you guys coming in second.

I got to admit,i'm very confident, mainly due to having Big Sam and capt Nolan. Fester will be **** or bust, and i think they will be play-offs.This league always throws up a surprise.
