If he was running the club properly instead turning it into a circus he might have some interest and get a few bigger offers. He is substantially over valuing the club because he overpaid because he has no financial and business acumen.
Wouldn't make an ounce of difference how Cellino runs the club, if a buyer wants Leeds they'll buy it; personally, I think the buyers are put off by the "obsessive blame Cellino for everything" gang. They're probably thinking about when they forgot to take their library books back when they were 15.
For a short 3 letter word answer you certainly made it long enough. We are debt free as the accountants see it however, the Leeds United of today are not servicing loans to GFH cos of Cellino, the Leeds United of today are servicing loans to GFH because of GFH. I do wonder where GFH got the 30 mill from to loan Leeds, after all, they said they had no money, not even to pay the players wages, so Cellino, like the kind hearted man he is stepped in and paid the players out of his own pocket. Some seem to forget that. The loan from Elenora Sports had to be made in order to bring financial stability to the club, mainly thanks to Bates and GFH's swindling, not Cellino. Cellino said, he would transfer the money owed into equity, which I believe he did. I'm trying to understand what you wrote below, respectfully speaking, it doesn't make sense. "Cellino again says he will sell if he can't get us promoted. If no one is out there to buy us then you accept he is talking bollocks about that as well or there are people out there he is not prepared to sell to". If Cellino puts the club up for sale cos we didn't get promoted, and there are no takers, how is Cellino talking bollocks? If there are 1 or 2 interested takers, and Cellino doesn't want to do a Bates, how is Cellino talking Bollocks? I just don't get it.
Free of debt?. Ken Bates took the club into administration In 2007 and bought the club back the same day when an offshore company called Astor claimed to be owed 17 million pounds and said it would waive the debt only if the Bates bid was successful. It would not surprise if and when a serious bid is made for the club that we discover there is a large loan to be repaid to an offshore Trust.
Of course he can.Theres a few currently working on a story that hes to blame for the ice age as well, or at least his ancestors
WC, with respects, The 17 mill owed by Leeds was waived, it wasn't passed onto GFH as far as I'm aware also, that statement by Astor has been documented, therefore I doubt they could claim that debt in future.......
Pot and kettle on the short answer thing. Can't borrow your way out of debt. If I switch mortgage lenders I don't pay off the loan. Respectfully, it is Cellino saying he will sell again. I presume he says that because he is confident of finding a buyer otherwise it's just another thing he can't accomplish.
Forza, not blaming Cellino for the debt, it's just misleading to claim we're debt free when servicing loans however you make it appear on the books.
Position seems worse than I thought. Lardy @ShaunijeW 1h1 hour ago @EllandBack1 @BurnfaceRovers It was £1m a month. Last published accounts stated losing £850k a month. MC says next accounts worse.
Proof of what? The accounts showed exactly how big our liabilities are to Elanora sports. As for the rest time will prove it.
