http://www.footballtransfertavern.c...ransferTavern (The Transfer Tavern Home Page) To get ANYTHING for him is a bonus. He's a lazy **** who was never the same player once Ba left.
Apart from his first 4 months he has been a crock of dogshit on a regular basis..Can`t believe he is still here... His ball control is a joy to behold. Its like kicking a ball against a wall when you pass to him.!!
I think he has decent movement at times and can have a good reading of the game - his goals tend to come from being in the right place at the right time and that isn't actually just luck. However, his actual footballing ability is far lower than it initially appeared and he doesn't always come across as bothered by matches and putting in the effort. Early on it wasn't just the goals he was getting it was everything about the way he looked on and off the pitch which made me think we had a cracking player on our hands. He went into his shell a few years ago and is yet to re-emerge, seems likely that isn't going to happen and we should have moved him on previously. He is though our only out and out goalscorer...
Please God let this be true, Cisse is barely a footballer. If he'd not had that purple patch when he joined I wonder whether Carr would still be with us? He's credited with Cisse, Tiote and Cabaye. Cisse hasn't been worth a damn for two years, Tiote about the same and Cabaye went on strike. I still to this day have no idea how Carr is or was ever deemed a super scout. We needed a new number 9 two years ago. Either way, that'll be fun - waiting to see who our lord and saviour Rafa deems worthy of the shirt.
Personally think he was pardewed After his initial first 1/2 season it was like he was told do not shoot from anywhere and be off side as much as shola
I think it's time for a parting of the ways, but l will always remember him for THAT goal against Chelsea. It was just sublime. Never quite the same after his partnership with Ba ended.
He's a good natural finisher with pace and that's it. The problem with Cisse, is he doesn't have a footballing brain. You can visibly see he isn't aware of his surroundings during a game. Good players are about 5 seconds ahead of the game, Cisse is about 10 seconds behind. I've honestly never known a forward to be caught offside as much as him, it's cringe worthy at times.
Aye, but the key difference is that Cisse is just clueless, whereas Shola took 10 minutes to get back to the halfway line after a previous attack.
