As the old song goes "We've been through it altogether, and we've had our ups and downs", no more so than with Cellino in charge! He has turned our club into a freak show. Some of the events that we have seen happen with our own eyes would be too far fetched even for soaps. Yet here we are, virtually debt free with a half decent squad, probably four decent players away from a play off place. This would replicate our best finishing position for 15 years. I don't see Billionaires lining up outside ER with suitcases full of money, nor will they whilst the only assets the club has are their players. IF, and I know its a big if,but if Cellino brings in someone of Monks quality, and he dips his hand in his pocket to bring in some Premiership class, than at what point would you :- a) Renew your season ticket b) Get behind Cellino c) Start to believe again

Short answer would be yes. But we are not debt free, we are servicing long term loans to Elanora sport and gfh. Monk has had one managerial job but is the better of names we've been linked with lately. Hope, it happens but doubt it, think it will cost more than Cellino will be prepared pay. Cellino again says he will sell if he can't get us promoted. If no one is out there to buy us then you accept he is talking bollocks about that as well or there are people out there he is not prepared to sell to. Don't believe a word he says. Oh and managers that should walk over hot coals for this job are turning us down. Still can't wait for next season though

No amount of protests, anger loaded tweets and cyber attacks by keyboard warriors is going to conjure up a billionaire knight in shining armour, and for the record I'm finding it a lot more enjoyable following Cellino's Leeds than Bates' Leeds

Cellino might well want Monk he might even offer him more than he was on at Swansea but what will Monk request in return? I would imagine total say in team selection, a say in who we keep and who he wants in. Cellino won't go for that, I can't see Monk coming in as the next lap dog, can't see it happening but if it does things might get interesting...
But then again Monk's got nothing to lose, he's unemployed, he'll get a nice payoff after a few months, and if we're top half his reputation will be untarnished as future employers will put his sacking down to the Cellino effect. He may even buck the trend and see through a promotion winning season depends if he's up for a challenge. Probably desperate to get back in the game. He already said previously there was only time wasters enquiringly about the club. I'm sure that won't change in near future. Lots of better set up clubs than ours on the market and without hangers on like gfh to contend with
