Only three managers have ever won the league for Man Utd; Ernest Mangnall, Matt Busby and Alex Ferguson. Traditionally there has been at least a twenty year break between each league winning manager and, as we are told regularly, United are a club steeped in tradition.
No alcohol for the fans before England/Wales it seems (well apart from in the fan zone) From BBC: French authorities are to impose a 24-hour alcohol ban in the city of Lens for the Euro 2016 meeting of England and Wales. The ban will start on 06:00 BST the day, but will not apply to the 10,000 capacity fan zone. Guess we must still have that bad reputation with UEFA despite being far form the worse nation for fans violence now. .
I read of a proposal to add more teams to the league and have smaller divisions. This I think is good idea, but is this a way to allow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers to join easily and not playing with National League North to start.
If it is, they may regret it - those Rangers 'fans' are something else. If it does come off, they would surely have to join the bottom division - they have to earn the right to play in the Premiership, and both are currently not good enough - and with the proposal to relegate seven teams from the Championship already unpopular, I can't see too many voting for two more in order to just let them in.
I think that would confuse all the Billy Boys who follow them. - not to mention have Milton Keynes infected with the maggots. Do you get a sense that I don't like Rangers?
Who has just signed the 'animal' Joey Barton... Which, for some reason, reminds me - did anyone watch the Scottish Cup Final? Totally at fault for two of the Hibs goals was one Rob Kiernan. I wonder if he'll still be there next season?
Mad bastards re-employ mad bastard. They've had four managers since last July, yet we are the club who get labelled... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/21343978
Hull deserved to win the Play off final and a pretty decent goal to win it too.. Shame for FF and Pudli as their boys didn't really perform.. Steve Bruce didn't sound like a man who was certain to be there next season though.
Well he suggested afterwards there were some issues off the pitch.. The owner is ill and there is talk of a take over. Probably wants to make sure he has money to spend and/or his job is safe.
So England are taking 5/6 strikers - which is about as many defenders that are in the squad... Let's hope we don't suffer too many issues at the back which is our weak point.

Utterly ridiculous not taking Drinkwater. Can put your house on Jack Wheelchair lunging into a tackle he can never win and getting injured again - I thought Woy said he was picking players based on their club form?
