Or even his first ever season in charge of them. Ofcourse he knows he's straw clutching. Next he'll be blaming the refs again. I can't wait for him to disappear again next season.

the only question mark on mourinho is what happened at inter in the end, what happened at real in the end and what happened at chelsea in the end.

At inter it was the owner and italian press.. real animosity there. why? he'd just won the triple and ge tthe hell out. I think he saw the squad wasn't up to it after that... plus when real call you move.

At Real he kept getting semi finals of CL and just falling there, the press turned on him there but thats spain. the press turn on EVERYONE. He did savage casillas though and thats was strong management but unpopular. they won the title then the following year he won nothing and got the push

At chelsea the final year is inexplicable and his worst in club football. I don't know still just why certain players turned on him.

His record suggests that He should do something this next season and utd should be red hot favorites for the title the season after... followed by a falling out with press and him leaving...

i don't think there's any logic to what went wrong at chelsea.. may their post season tour did something, maybe certain players went off the boil, maybe some felt he scape goated them... I dunno.

He's won the cup in every country he's been to. he's on league every club he's been to. he's won both european cups... like... barring the he won't stay long (same can be said of pep) his record speaks for itself.

If I was to guess why it all went south this season at Chelsea I'd say every team he's managed, he's had players that have developed a strong bond with him... except for this Chelsea side. First time round at Chelsea he had Lampard, Terry and Drogba who were completely loyal to him and set the tone of the dressing room. At Inter you saw the scenes with Materrazi when he left. Name another manager where a player hugged and cried in public with him when he left. And Etoo was willing to play as a RW to help the team. But there were no such loyal players at Chelsea this season and I think he found himself isolated very easily.

He didn't get to spend enough money. He needs a high turnover not just to bring in the best players but to stop others becoming sick of him.

    Klopp?

Seriously Mourinho is like a PE firm invest and exit as soon as you've made a killing. I find him no different to Pep the only difference being in how they get results out of their teams. One is easy on the eye the other .......

I must've missed that, can only assume they were crying with relief.

If that's the case he should've gone o PSG. The "killing" there atm seems far greater. Agree about Pep though, his tedious football is anything but easy on the eye.

Fearless and exciting talent. Don't think he will get much playing time, but can't complain with him there as an option. Probably distracted though, thinking where he is going to play on loan for the rest of his utd career.

He's just signed a new contract with a clause that says he has to play every game for United. True story <whistle>

    KLOPP <cheers>:emoticon-0140-rofl:

    walked into this one.

I agree with you though... I thought willian was in his corner but ivanovic fabregas, matic (bizarrely) and hazard showed no desire for him last year.. courtois seems a total mercenary.

A couple of transfer windows at Man Utd and he'll be able to call himself the Billion Pound Pulis

Recent history being a £200m+ spend gets a 1-2 league place increase and a small cup <laugh>

You aren't a top manager until you win the Taca de Portugal.
