He was part of the consortium that got us promoted in 2008- which fundamentally transformed the history of this club. We might be scratting around in League One but for his efforts.

We've all been here before with this excitement of him or him. Me I'm keeping feet firmly on the ground. We've been down this road before and these big money men ain't ever buying city. We all wish it and want it but frankly it's a think realistically time now. Don't get me wrong I'd love to do a man city with cash but I just don't see us been that attractive proposition. If there's truth in it and they are genuine I will welcome anyone with as good interest for the club as the Allams and hope they can take us further!!

I know plenty about American banks, with a wife who worked for a US financial giant. There's always a bank involved, along with lawyers and underwriters.

My point is this seems to be all speculation still. With layers being added, and a story growing out of nothing.

Need a credible source to name names, or it's still guessing.
