As long as the name contained Hull, I wouldn't be bothered as long as any other name had connections with the club. Although I like your east yorkshire idea, it may be a bridge too far.
Yeah I agree, it was. The whole civic shebang for basically coming 3rd, ish, feels to me like celebrating with singing on the pitch, etc, when you don't get relegated. It just feels...tacky.
