Of course we could keep them, but the fact is that Boris Johnson and his ilk want to ditch many of the employer protection laws such as this..
As I have stated, I am still undecided which way I will vote, but this is one of the reasons I see as a plus regarding staying in.

Nothing in health and safety laws that says you can't climb a ladder or fasten nuts and bolts..

I think there'd be a huge shift to Labour in the event of both:

    A Brexit vote

    And

    Corbyn resigning

The lefties understand how to galvanise a nation and mobilise the working class. that's what'll be required and I'd certainly vote for a strong candidate to repair the industry of this country.

Remain will ensure a hell of a lot of working class votes go to UKIP.

There's millions of health and safety laws regarding ladders! There's one at my old work saying our window cleaner has to be harnessed and have his ladder clipped into to wall struts.

No strict guidelines..Only that people are trained to check that the equipment they are using is fit for purpose..

I worked a manual lathe to 3 thou tolerances yet had to be trained to use a ladder any higher than two rungs.
This was down to purely EU H&S ****e.

if you are working at high levels then these are surely sensible precautions to take. These are not binding by health and safety laws though otherwise ordinary window cleaners would be out of business. These are more down to the sue society we live in and businesses being scared of litigation.

So we spend money on training people, to train people on how to suck eggs?

Fair enough. I'm all for rules that save lives either way but we are more than capable of doing that alone.

The entire remain campaign for me has been built on fear, a word I would not associate with Great Britain.

I'd attribute that word to France, sure.

Latest H&S ruling from the EU.

Safety helmets are to be banned as they are unfit for purpose.

An experiment was carried out where a safety helmet and a woolly bobble hat were dropped off a 10 storey block of flats. When they were examined, the safety helmet had a crack in it but the bobble hat was undamaged.

    EU directive HSE/GHTt/.97577:2322:7762:1973.

all i see from the remain camp is scaremongering, a load of lies this may happen that may happen its bollocks, i will be affected personally if we leave but by **** i would rather have my country back with a person in charge with big balls to tell humanitarian aid the un and other ****ers who dictate to us what we have to do to go **** themselves .... stop spending 13 billion abroad in aid every year, charity begins at home, you should have to work here for 5 years before you can claim for handouts. if you have more than 2 kids pay for them yourself, as all mussies and sluts have a minimum of 10 why should i have to pay for them, use condoms the pill what ever, affront against god then **** off back whence you came. air fare supplied free. no mosques in this country we are christian, they don't let us build churches in their countries. trying to get to EU BY BOAT tack them back to the port of leaving. radicals and isis supporters send them back to country of origin and their families, why should we still pay for them

my list is endless this boils my piss vote out

I remember a couple years ago over here when a few states took a real hard line on illegal immigrants.

In Alabama millions of dollars of strawberries, lettuce and various other crops rotted in fields. Farmers went bankrupt , lost farms etc..... I thought must have been **** pay nope $12-15 an hour. In one of the poorest states , 15% unemployment and double the minimum wage. Poor bastards couldn't get the work done.

Shambolic , how we have pussified people with benefits and handouts. Poverty in western world imho is 90 % a state of mind.
