I don't see Mourinho doing any worse than LvG in his first season. So this scenario that you coined up is highly unlikely based on historical facts. Yes, he lost the team at Chelsea this year due to series of horrible events starting with pre-season to the team doctor. So No! I don't see that happening this time around. Hell, I can guarantee Mourinho would be miles better (at least 15points) than 48 points that Klopp got after 30 league matches.
And it all ended in massive disappointment. No trophies, No European qualification and worse league finish and total than Rodgers.
The juzzfest has not stopped. The media is still crawling all over Klopp. Carragher even suggested that out of all the managers set for next season, he would pick out Klopp to play for. Based on what exactly? But on the other hand, the anti-United articles keep piling on: https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2016/may/28/jose-mourinho-risk-manchester-united-manager. It feels like Sir Alex is back in charge again.
Jose Mourinho sends Twitter into a frenzy as 500,000 tweets are sent after Manchester United appointment........................................if you are going to do it - do it properly http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...owing-news-Manchester-United-appointment.html
Not at all. It's called basic wummery. He clearly lost his mojo at Chavbus though. Now he's at a club he wants to be. He's got back the eye of the tiger
As a friend I will be honest with you so pack it in mate, its cringe and you're embarrassing yourself We all know it will end in tears
Losing to Sevilla was to be expected so why the hurt? Mind you as per tradition, they managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. If they get to another final, I'll put money on them losing it...so what's the point ?
