Agreed. But as has been said before, statues should be put for him for what we have achieved on the field yet somehow his off the field antics have alienated many fans at what has been the greatest period in our history.
We may have to thank Mr Allam for loaning the club the money. But he is far from the gentle old beneficiary he portrays to be. But I do hope he recovers from his ill health, just as I would wish anybody else.
Another thread that's turned City fans against each other. Only 2 people to blame for that..... Messrs Allam & Allam. The sooner they f**k off, the better!
What sort of ****ing tool would look at that issue and think that rather than employing people on minimum wage - probably to an overall cost of about £500 a game - to check IDs on the turnstyles they would scrap concessions entirely. Oh wait that would be the Allams.
Hope he sells - not convinced it will happen. Can't imagine he's easy to do business with on a deal that big either. So many easy wins for a new owner straight away.
That's utter twaddle! There will be capacity crowds next season and an average attendance well over 20,000.
If he does sell, i hope it's quickly so we can get back to business of buying players. Can't have all this bollocks lingering all summer. Although, would be good to show the country how much of an arse he still is, if he complains about the concession rules of the premier league.
His health has not been helped by last season. Even businessmen sometimes put health before profit. It depends on his sons view, health plus a little profit or the kudos of being the owner of a Premier League team. I think they will sell.
A lot of them will going with heavier hearts than they should if the Allams are still at the helm and the membership scheme intact
Capacity crowds? I don't think we sold out once in the last Premier League season. We're even less likely to with the ludicrous membership scheme in its current format!
i didn't mention next season. i expect the extra 998 promotions to take a little longer and require a few more matches than we'll be able to fit in between now and august.
I think we did. Some of the lower crowds were due to away teams not selling all tickets and the well documented problems of being able to put more City fans in due to the configuration of the concourse and the associated segregation problems.
I think you've understated the Nazi role here. They were certainly planned and begun under the WR, but progress was slow until Hitler chucked money and manpower at them from 1933. By the way - I replied to your PM
