An open day's a splendid idea. One that involves the bloody players who actually won promotion for us, not the ones not good enough to be internationals.

Personally I think civic receptions, and open top buses should be for winning something. Winning an actual thing. Like a league, or a cup. Not beating the 6th placed team for the final promotion spot.
