Toast was eaten with Marmalade sealing the deal on a short term basis. Currently contemplating a Belgian bun, but don't want to upset the brexit camp.
That's that then. No worries on that score. Steve Bruce is in that Redknapp/Allardyce mode of buying teams and the lack of funding makes it impossible that he would come this way
That's right. Harry told us. Wouldn't you for a slice of the signing on fee? I think we've learned enough over the years to know that if you do, you ignore the stories that X was the one shining light in that dismal season and that the dearly departed club managed to get itself relegated in spite of his performances. The really bizarre thing is that when we buy them they cost full whack aka a bargain in 'Harry tells Tony' land. When we come to move them on we can't sell them for glue. I wonder why that is?
I think our problem has been paying too high wages rather than transfer fees although there are a few notable exceptions.
Think our problem has been going for the wrong type of player (baring a few exceptions) who were only interested in a nice pay day which we foolishly went along with by giving out some ridiculous contracts.

Bostock close to QPR OH Leuven sees alongside Yohan Croizet leave a second seasoning. John Bostock (24) leaves the club and soon signed to the English second division club Queens Park Rangers. The midfielder, known for his panenka's from the penalty spot, also had a nice offer from Lokeren in his pocket, but so opt for an adventure in London. Especially wives Anastasia Pink insisted on a return to England. http://www.nieuwsblad.be/cnt/dmf20160531_02315911
Don't want to start up last summers diatribe But these players Guirassy and Bostock...are any of them defenders??? I think not. I think we need defenders myself
I don't think he made an appearance for Spurs. I think the connection is that JFH signed Bostock when he was coach at Royal Antwerp. Bostock scored nearly 1 in 3 games for OH Leuven last season. Not bad for a midfielder. It's hard to believe he's still only 24, it seems like he's been around for ages.
Good new for Chery, I waited and managed to secure Belgian bun on reduced terms. I hearing positive things about a promising young Danish, more to follow. Keep em peeled...
