I'm doing what's morally right .... morally right for me (Ehab Allam, 2015).

I can't see them spending much on players,if they stay.surely it's just a ploy to up the price. Ehabs reaction when offered the cup tells us he knows how unpopular (with most fans ) he is.the bad publicity coming his way if he stops would get through the thickest of skins.even his

If the Allam's stayed and dropped their stupid ideas that would be fine by me. If Senior dies then that might happen.
They could easily get their loans repaid over three/four years without too much of a dent in our budget and then they would be left with a Premier League club which doesn't have any debt - even to them.
Given (not the player) Villa were sold for £60m we should be worth more than the loans outstanding even if Villa have a ground and bigger support.

We have something much more valuable for any interested party that can see the potential and can get the cash to back it up. A council owned stadium, close to the city centre and land for development. we also have a council that will roll over and help with any proposed development.

I was 4,138 miles from Wembley and I heard the booing. Admitedly, it was via SkySports but I heard it loudly and clearly. I think it is time for a fresh start for City - out with the old and in with the new.

Cardiff went down with Tan changing their kit colour etc. We went down last season with all the off field shenanigans. Villa and Newcastle have followed suit.

We need a chairman who doesn't create turmoil and alienate fans at every given opportunity

Gotta hope that someone in or close to the council will have a say on proceedings. Alan Johnson, whoever...just someone who looks beyond his Hall Rd constituents and their kiddies' desire to go to Fair one week a year.
Maybe we could build a stable for the tethered horse on the wasteland next to the Argyle St walkway?
Failing that, a serious development on the Walton Street car park that would jobs and wealth would do.

I must say though in my experience the Council are actually getting very good at dealing with big business and investors. Certainly amongst the officers as opposed to the politicians
Even ignoring Seimans you'd be amazed at the cumulative levels of investment coming into the area

A premier league club with no debt is worth, at the very least, it's turnover.

I don't mind at all. The council have no money, but the development won't be done by the council it'll be done in partnership with the arms length leisure company. There should be some government funding available as well depending on what the development consists of.

I posted an interesting interview about stadium financing on CI. You should have a look I'm sure you'll find it interesting.

I'm sure the Americans will got on well with Geraghty. He can deliver something they want. Whether they like him is another matter.

If Adam Pearson is involved in any way I'd say the answer would be yes.

If someone is buying the stadium and developing it, the council will have no involvement at all.

That's it. Mixed up with Facebook. So ridiculous. For what reason would they keep it. Tapping into the Asian market?

My biggest fear now is that this takeover (if it happens) drag's on, and the footballing side suffers, SB has said himself we need major investment on the field( which I thinks a little rich, coming from him, with all the money he's had at his disposal )
