Good Morning Everyone, The Wall have gone into hiding following their embarrassing 3-1 defeat (should have been a lot more) and the hands of Barnsley. People have been searching the four corners of the globe for our minnow friends... Nope, not here..... please log in to view this image Not here either ........ Where have they gone? When will they be back? Will they show their faces again? I am offering a reward for any sightings of the Wallies. Codename: WHERE'S WALLY
Meanwhile, there has been little progress regarding a new Manager for our club. Leeds Manager First League Game 2016/17 Season Manager First League Game 2016/17 Season Steve Evans 1/1 Ivan Juric 4/1 Luis Diego Lopez 8/1 Karl Robinson 10/1 Gianluca Festa 12/1 Darren Wassall 12/1 Roberto Stellone 12/1 Neil Warnock 14/1 Gary McAllister 14/1 Darrell Clarke 16/1 Neil Lennon 16/1 Gareth Southgate 16/1 Dougie Freedman 16/1 Walter Zenga 18/1 Gary Kelly 20/1 Noel Whelan 20/1 Fabio Cannavaro 20/1 David O'Leary 20/1 Quique Sánchez Flores 25/1 Simon Grayson 25/1 David Moyes 28/1 Michael Appleton 33/1 Massimo Rastelli 33/1
Before we take pleasure from the Bermondsey Whites failure to join their first choice team in the Chsmpionship, we should reflect on their valiant attpt to hold mighty Barnsley. Remember, they were only behind for the last 89 minutes of the game - it was so close Alternatively we could just pee ourselves laughing
Mind you, otherwise it is a bit bleak, to be honest If anyone has any tenuous rumours about Cellino selling to a billionaire with more money than sense, feel free to post.......
Morning all... Newsnow full of articles this morning over the shambles of Cellino and his treatment of Evans and failure to find a new coach mad enough to join. Also an interesting article on why Paul Hart left... He made it sound like he felt Luton were more ambitious, even the Bradford chairman is having a dig at the way we are being run, quote.... "I don’t want to slag off Leeds all the time but they are the obvious example of what we don’t want to become."
Morning everyone, if I was Steve Evans I would Cellino to take a hike, a bit surprised that Evans has not walked by now. Think I would have preferred Nillwall to have won: 1) We could take the piss every other weekend when they loose. 2) No reason for Stevie, Mighty, Brizzie etc. to go missing for weeks upon time. 3) Barnsley are one of our bogey teams
Morning ristac, the thing that I don't get is that Cellino has done the hard part. He has us running on an even keel. If he employed Pearson (2m a year should do it) and had us running the club properly fans would be more forgiving regarding lack of investment in players
Morning Doha, Evans has a contract, and I too would see it out. It very much paints Cellino in a bad light if Evans sees out his contract.
I think Evans is playing it right. Made it clear how he's being treated but technically still doing job, so getting paid while he (I presume) looks at players, talks to people - all of which stands him in good stead if/when he's sacked. Plus if Crllino has to keep him on he can take the piss Hes not my ideal leeds manager but hiw he's handling this is smart enough
Evans is like a labrador! Faithful, obedient and loyal (though every now and then he'll take a **** on the carpet) Cellino can more or less get away with anything with Evans
