That's assuming there is little investment in players, as taking his money out would leave little for a manager to work with at EPL level.

I was saying it tongue in cheek, meaning Ehab would just do it out of spite, to get his own back on the fans. My daughter knows him from school and she was with me at Wembley and she said he is a right tosser.

I'd be perfectly happy being relegated but debt free.

I assume though that this depends on AAs health? They are a very patriarchal family.
If AA is alive then he will be in charge and could make that call, in which case EA will do as he is told.
If EA is the most senior male then he'll make his own mind up regardless of what the family think.

Isn't Ehab part of the Allam family nowadays? Did he get disowned by Assem?

Ehab may want to prove something. With his father out of the picture, he may take a more sensible approach, appoint a decent CEO, listen to the fans more etc.

I still think we'll be sold mind, before the end of June.

    I voted for this.
Can't see either walking away or Bruce being forced out for any reason.

We're witnessing the demise of the head of the Allam family and the rise of it's next Patriarch, Ehab.

I've met neither in person but from reports I've heard anecdotally Allam Snr is actually quite moderate in his thinkings and it is
Ehab that is the loose cannon. A father will go to great lengths to protect his beloved son, especially a wayward one.

The staff at City all hold the Old Man in very high regard, I've even heard the phrase "Run through a brick wall for him".

More like the other way around. He's a playboy and only City gives him access to the VIP lounge.

Hmm, we may never know but I still think City would be easier for Jnr to handle on his own. He's got a full management and executive team covering the playing and commercial side of the business, doesn't have to make too many decisions to make apart from occasionally appointing a new manager and ponying up the money when asked. On the Marine business he would have to be much more involved in day to day stuff and can't hide behind anyone else if it goes tits up.

Do they **** hold the Old Man in 'very high regard'! Virtually all those I know cannot stand either of the Allams and view them as arrogant ****ers who don't care a jot for those who work under them.....there aren't exactly a ton of get well cards by his hospital bed....the sister seems quite nice though.

I don't know the players, so don't know about them.. I presume Jake has the Allams to thank for not being sacked off when suspended. Staff' I assumed meant coaches, kit men, admin, and those who have to implement some of the whims of the owners. Many of them view the Allams as distant, uncommunicative and arrogant.

Jake might be the wrong measure to use for assessing how liked or not the Allams are. Jake probably loves everybody in authority at the club 'cos they didn't sack him over his drugs incident.

I've heard they are well liked by staff.
