One has an ego built on media crap that obviously you want to defend as he is your manager. But a lot have always questioned pep.

In fairness Atletico deserved their equaliser as real couldn't keep up in the second half.

Simeone didn't make subs so he really didn't exploit ronaldo and bale barely moving.

It was a frenetic game in parts. Either side could have won it but in the end withe width of a post separated them.

The Atletico keeper was never saving one from what I saw so real had it once it went to pens.... has that keeper done different in past? I was thinking why on earth did Atletico not go all out.... they had to win it.

I could understand why both were given (goal and penalty) tbh. Agree with the rest especially that last bit. At the very least why not carry on with the same impetus after they got the equaliser. I thought RM were on the ropes a bit. All 4 forwards had a poor game though.

 

Yeah..... it was a quick enough pace to make it hard to get into it.

I don't think many of them were fit.

I think atlectico were taking huge risks to get the equaliser and only moment prior to it it should have been 2-0... so I suppose they went back to a more solid game after the goal.

 

Pepe is a prize ****. Vile individual and overrated defender whose best days are behind him. But despite the fact he's a peace of ****, that's not the same as saying they won bcos they cheated. His antics gained RM no decision whatsoever, let alone one that changed the course of the match. In fact he just ended up looking like a prize **** and that's all.
