I think the gate was around 43k gasheads. It was without question the largest number of Bristol supporters in attendance for a single game in local football history.

I still watch Walker's second goal and wonder how he managed to score from that position. One of, if not my favourite ever Rovers goals (now rivalled by Lee Brown of course)!

So why is SL spending so much money making your tin sheds even bigger.

PS. And why is your ground never full. Unless it's rugby of course.

When hasn't it been full since we started the work on it? Technically it's been a sell out for two seasons now.

Unfortunately I can't show the 'heavily reduced' prices which were advertised. Perhaps you can find them ROD.

    From Not 606

    10,000 season tickets already sold

    and from the BCFC site

More than 13,000 supporters took advantage of the early bird sales period to sign up for the new campaign, when the brand new West Stand will be opened for the first time.

Now take into account the 'glory hunters' who wish to say 'I was there' for the revamped stadium.

Even my red bruv in law has bought SC's for himself and two sons and booked a slot to go to the first game for Rovers at UWE!!

No he is saying that we had ST deals on which increased our sales, like no other clubs do.
I pointed out that the deal is basically the same as the one you have. So it is sticking to the subject bozo

He stated 13,000 teds took advantage of the give away prices. What he clearly stated in his original post you questioned?
I keep telling you teds.... It's not about quantity, it's about quality.! :emoticon-0173-middl

But they wasn't give away prices, they were the same reduction that you lot had. So his demonstration was pointless bit like saying quality over quantity. I'm watching the play off and I've got to be honest my granddaughter could play better than this ****e on show. Can't believe you only managed to scrape third place against this sort of standard.
