We have to improve for next season anyway. Just did well enough to get out of this league, now we have to push on. I don't trust the present owners to do that, but if we get new ones maybe they will be more demanding.

If he leaves and takes a rest his stock will be a big high when somebody comes knocking he'll be able to dictate is own price. I think he'll go and for the club I think that's the best thing moving forward .

Hope he stays we will not have many days like this in the premiership,if we do come straight back down then maybe Bruce can give us more days like this he deserves to stay, and i am pleased for the Allams as well i really do not give a **** what some think.

He's rich. He's atoned for last years relegation. He can go out with his head high and get a much needed rest to recharge his batteries. We need a fresh approach and an enthusiastic manager who can inspire the players and bring a faster paced more attacking style on the pitch. With the money now available and new owners this should be a great opportunity to consolidate our place in the top flight.

Thank you Steve and thank you Mr.Allam for the good things you have done for our Club. May the Good Lord ease the pain of your illness.

Well said sir

I would like him to stay. He deserves another crack at the big one.

However, more often than not this season I've seen him and been concerned for his health.

Probably not my place to say it, but there you go. He looks bad. I think he should rest up for a while.

But he may feel fine and be fighting fit. So as always just my opinion.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has suggested that his future at the club is not certain despite their promotion back to the Premier League this afternoon.

The Tigers bounced back to the big time courtesy of a 1-0 win over Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship playoff final, with Mohamed Diame getting the only goal of the game at Wembley.

However, with the club having been up for sale since 2014, Bruce admitted that there is uncertainty regarding the way it is heading and insists that he will need assurances before he commits his future to them.

"I'll sit down with the owners. It's not often you walk away from the Premier League - that's where I want to manage," Bruce told BBC Radio 5 live.

"But I have to be given certain assurances that we're all moving in the right direction. I keep hearing too many stories that there's a takeover imminent. We'll see what develops."

It seems to be Bruce knows new owners are imminent and he's hoping they give him a chance in the Premier League. That's the impression from the BBC interview.

His interview post match on Sky was defo one of somebody thinking of leaving.

Who would we want it? Rowett? I'd be inclined to go for someone with top level experience. Cesare Prandelli is out of work at the mo.
