Rashford motm who scored then gave the ball away 9/10 every time he received it from 3rd minute onwards
Bertrand was totally assured and should definitely be in starting 11. I actually thought Stones was MOTM
http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/...yer-injures-ankle-training-with-national-team My Jose misses training with an ankle injury.
Just watching Colin Murray doing the presenting of the NI squad announcement, and he's so good on TV. The Beeb need to find a place again for him to present football.
Agreed, he did a great job on the Football League Show when we used to appear on it, a crying shame he was moved on.
My dad holds him responsible for the introduction of "Two good - Two Bad", but I'm sure it was Chiles; it has all his hallmarks.
You're right, it was MOTD2, he replaced Chiles. He was also great on Fighting Talk on 5 Live on Sat mornings.
Thought he was far too weak for international football - he was far too easily muscled off the ball. Think it is would be a gamble to take him, but, of course, with "Super-Wayne" scoring against a non-existent defence, Woy is bound to play him upfront as a striker now ......
Totally agree with your comments on Rashford, but I would be tempted to take him as a substitute, if we are chasing goals. He just seems to have that knack, right now. I'm assuming Sturridge will be injured more than he will be fit, as per usual.
I think he is a typical Premier League player: tonnes of pace but no passing ability or technique. Has potential but against European opponents with any nowse then he will prove ineffective. You look at the first touches of Vardy, Walker and Rashford, these are not players that will help England retain possession.
That's because he hasn't been through our Academy....all other Academy lads are sadly undertrained. He's only a young lad and will gain from experience and may get us the odd goal because he is too young to be afraid. If there is a vacancy, why not take him...all depends who he is keeping out of the squad.
