Well considering that to get 102pts last time we only lost 2 games, I'd say that 107pts might be pushing it.

But, to be fair, we did draw quite a few games. It will be interesting to see what sort of footie we play next season.

To get 108pts is 36 out of 46 wins.

 

100pts = 34 wins. 30 wins + 10 draws - 6 defeats.

I could see us getting 100.

 

I think 12/1 on 100 points is good value tbh considering it is sounding like we'll keep some of the internationals and even spend a bit of money. Where are these odds from?

Can see us getting about 90 points if I'm honest. League will be tougher than last time we were in it.

I think you are right that it will be tougher (as in a higher standard) but I also think we will have a better team.

 

Personally don't see Newcastle even challenging for the automatic places so...

 

Look at it this way, if we started off in twelve identical universes at the start of the season and played each of them out. If we can imagine that in at least two of these twelve Newcastle amass at least 100 points then it's a good bet.

Interestingly, they are offering ODDS ON that Newcastle won't be promoted.
