I'm feeling less good about him than I did when he scored the second against the ****e and I called for him to be made captain, that's for sure. Shouldn't play for the club again. He will, and I'll cheer on the shirt, but not him. Nothing but contempt now.
http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Mamadou-sakho-n-est-plus-suspendu/684087 Mamadou Sakho is no longer suspended. Worth a month imposed a precaution by UEFA on April 28, has not been extended by the European body and the French international defender Liverpool (26) is now allowed to resume operations professional. In all likelihood, Sakho, who had tested positive in a doping test after the eighth-final second leg Europa League against Manchester United (1-1), March 17, is likely to be relaxed in a few days. The arguments presented by its English lawyers were retained: the fat burner that has ingested was not on the list of unauthorized products, its line of defense from the start. The doping charge was therefore eliminated. Does he still have a chance to rejoin the group if Didier Deschamps Jérémy Mathieu does not recover sufficiently from his injury in the calf? The coach has to make its final list for Euro May 31 ... Google translate so apologies for the English but cross fingers that this is true!!!!
Excuse my ignorance but if the club knew this and its true, why the feck did he not play in the final? as we needed the dozy **** !!!
He was suspended for a month by UEFA until the hearing. I think the big question here is why UEFA suspended a player for taking something that wasn't on the banned list, if this is true? Surely we could claim loss of earnings from UEFA here?
Ridiculous. After all that, we missed our best defender in the final for no reason. Doubt it would have made a difference but you never know.
Well the fa have never had to justify Hillsborough, so sadly why should eufa start. whole thing fecking stinks if true. How can a player be suspended pending an enquiry if their is doubts!!!! I made a "on the cuff comment" few weeks ago that its turning into guilty until proven innocent! How true that now sounds ffs
Well we were unbeaten with Sakho in the team in Europe, we lost 2 out of 3 without him, I reckon he would've made a pretty big difference personally!!
We'll have to wait for it to be confirmed by UEFA. If true, I'd expect the club to take legal action.
If this is the case it's seriously stained his reputation. I would take the ****ers to the cleaners.. It's shocking if true, absolutely shocking.
And if he had played and then been proven to be guilty? UEFA (and Liverpool & Sakho since they opted not to go for the second sample) obviously had reason to believe there was wrong doing
Give a ****, we would have won the eufa Not going to replay it if found innocent are they, so why would they if guilty?
I understand your point but how is that any better than us not playing our best defender and us being the ones who are hard done by?
