The ECHO asked fans to rate the players after every game this season and Trinity Mirror's Data Unit has collated all their findings together to produce a grand end of season total. And Sturridge who scored highest with a rating of 6.5. Sturridge scored 13 goals in all competitions and the 8.9 scored for the 26-year-old's performance in the 5-1 victory at Southampton in the Capital One Cup his highest rating for the season. The second highest average rating went to a man likely to depart Anfield this summer - Kolo Toure . Toure scored 6.4 for his performances this season, including an 8.6 for his performance in the Capital One Cup first leg victory over Stoke City. Fellow centre-back Dejan Lovren also scored 6.4 for his performances this term, with an 8.8 rating for his showing in the 3-0 victory over Villarreal. Christian Benteke's struggles were underlined with a 5.6 rating, which leaves the £32m forward bottom of the pile. Jordon Ibe was second bottom with just 5.7 and Martin Skrtel third with 5.8.
Sturridge wasn't the best for me. Benteke wasn't the worst for me either. Worst - Moreno (or Sakho, purely for being such a nob) Best - Milner That's the sad reality of Liverpool right now
If Brendan Rodgers was not sacked, players rating are going to be different, and we either finished higher or lower.
I think the benteke one is more to do with the expectation of what he cost and everyone assumed big cost = sudden impact. Sadly wrong type of player similar to spurs and soldado. Worst for me was moreno, skrtel and miggs. Then benteke. Unsung hero even though old and slow was toure. Not sold on Henderson either but he is useful sometimes just crap at shooting.
Worst - Moreno ..............don't get me started................ Best - Klopp, he's just given the whole club a shot in the arm #brightfuture
Unfortunately not but people saying he's the worst are being harsh. Moreno has been ok for around 70% of the season - he never got praise for when he played well but every mistake was magnified. His biggest problem is that his high errors are high profile mistakes which are easy to spot. Similar to Sakho, getting caught on the ball is easier to highlight than a defender who fails to track a runner.
