The fact that he turned down PSG shows just how desperately Jose wanted the United job. PSG guarantees domestic titles and a shot at the CL. We aren't even in the CL! I suspect Jose has been a United fan the whole time.

 

He hates Liverpool to boot, so that's a bonus
