So in the last week we've seen a United youth team player score the winning goal in an FA Cup final and another United youth team player score on his debut for England. One from Warrington, the other from Wythenshawe (where I used to play football).

Money clubs just relying on buying players and success! <laugh>

No. The North West is still very strong, Manchester in particular. The prime South East is ****ed.

Birmingham is a good bet at the minute. Very progressive planning policy.
The prime south east will never be ****ed!

I'd vote out,but will be in sardinia,so doubt i'll bother..... reckon the stays will get it.
Voting out will hammer the London and commuter South East property market. It's ****ed anyway because of a weak pound and the comical stamp duty system.

It'll never be ****ed,too many rich people want to live here.

Not at the minute. **** immediate yield and very speculative capital growth opportunity makes it a hugely unappealing way to park your cash.

Foreign buyers over a certain price have almost completely disappeared and the domestic market can't afford it so there is effectively no market. £2million properties in London are standard in many areas. To buy one, after you've dropped your deposit, sorted out your crippling loan and paid your fees, you need £150k cash to give to the government in stamp duty. To have that cash available you need to earn £250k in one year. You give £100k to the govt in income tax and the other £150k goes in stamp duty.

At the minute anything over a million in the South East, which is a ludicrous proportion of the market, is stagnant.

So investors look to places like Maidstone or Newbury. Or they look north, which is why Manchester is flying!

One thing is certain. Dier shouldn't be anywhere near that CB position for England. Schoolboy error for his OG

Peter Crouch has a better goal ratio per appearence than Rooney .....but it's all about United .....epic
It's certainly all about United for you Ruthie. You're an ex-Liverpool and part time Swansea fan but 90% of your posts are about United. They're the first thing you think about when you wake up and the last thing that goes through your mind before you pass out.

Crouch has a better goal per appearance ratio than Alan Shearer as well. If that's how you assess players then no wonder you're permanently confused and bitter!
