But rest assured, you’ll benefit from our 10% reduction too… Have criticised the Club many times in the past for it's failings but I just have to say well done and credit the Club for voluntarily doing the "right thing".
a big well done to the club from me too. wonderful gesture and one that will hopefully help put bums on seats. I'm not going to overthink this gesture but, along with the big kids reduction I'm paying a lot less for my tickets than I was a few years ago. well done NUFC.
Hate to come over all Mr T'ish but I think it is as much an attempt to maximise revenues as reward anybody for anything
The one thing I don't think you can criticise the Ashley regime of is ticket prices. There's been good deals, price freezes, £20's Plenty campaign, etc. Sure the economy has pushed them in that direction but it's been better here than at many clubs. The membership charge is the only criticism I have really although it's fairly understandable.
Yeah it looks like a nice gesture but they couldn't charge PL ticket prices in the Championship so prices have to come down which means they need to fill the seats from day one as revenue is going to take a hit even with the parachute payment, the extra matches will help and I would presume that more away fans will come to matches in Newcastle as it's going to be a big away day for them playing in what will be the biggest and best stadium in the Championship.
Was until a few years ago, then just had enough, my Dad also. Nowadays there is no point as i`m in Istanbul, but will try to coincide trips home with home games in the hope I will get a ticket as I need to take my little lad to his first game( he is 4). It`s come to the time when I have to make him suffer like my Dad did to me!! I foresee next year being sold out pretty quickly though. if we start of the season as we hope to.
No season ticket as live to far away. Promised l would not set foot in SJP again until Ashley and Co started running the club properly. It's too soon to know how things will truly be, but in Rafa l do trust. May be able to catch the lads at Norwich and Ipswich if we have turned a corner, which l think we have.
