It wasn't Adam Johnsons fault he fiddled with a 15 year old girl. Blame the girl for being 15.

Without lookingg, I remember well, each phase of sale had massive queues, even season ticket holders which were guaranteed a ticket. On the non pass holders that had attended however many games it was (the final priority band) people were queuing right round the ground all day after camping out all night and the ticket office was open til whatever time. People were being told not to join the queue as there were already enough people queuing to take all the tickets, and it sold out without hitting proper open general sale.

    Maybe you phoned?

They definitely did over the phone sales. Seem to remember the lines being perma engaged though, hence the queues.

Is there a reason this hasn't sold out this time? Money? Allams? Laziness?

    A bit of all three.

And I think we just don't have 40000 real fans. There's none of the buzz like there was last time we were in the playoff final, and the bandwagon never turned up.

Even I feel a bit indifferent about tomorrow. Of course it's a big game but there's many of those over the season. I don't feel much different than I did before either Derby away game this season for example. Compared to the last time we were in the playoffs I probably had to change my pants 10 times and barely slept all night for the excitement.

At the risk of seeming like an armchair crowd analyst, I think all these reasons and more
    - cost
    -too many recent visits
-Allams drip drip drip pissing on the HCFC bonfire for the last 3 or 4 years. People are boycotting it or have chucked it altogether
If I was going to highlight a positive it would be that this time we have a lower percentage of plastics than ever before, hence better support. I see PAFC are taking 33,000 on Monday - well they would, wouldn't they? Have they ever been before and will they ever get to go again? Ditto Sheffield. Last there 23 years ago- a lot of em have never been before, so bound to sell all their tickets, specially as metropolitan Sheffield is 1.5 million people.
Win or lose tomorrow, the club needs to accept it has ****ed up massively in growing the club. In fact they've ****ing shrunk it. They have soured relationships with everyone- Press, Council, fans, neutrals- and splintered the fanbase. They seem oblivious or unapologetic about it.
    Will this be their legacy?

    there isn't!
if we lose the manager goes and so do a lot of the players
if we go up we'll buy a lot more better players

it doesn't matter if the fans are plastics
they will still get behind the team at wembley
it's a lot different to a run of the mill premier league match when a lot of plastics want to see the opposition
