I really hope United don't get Zlatan. He'll get 30 goals easy if he stays fit. Would love to see him at Arsenal but I think Mourinho will have an advantage in signing him.
If LvG can get them from a whiskers distanceof CL qqualification, then Maureen should with Ibra's services. He's still top quality and should score over 20-25 goals in the EPL. Also they won't have CL games to get in the way. This summer transfer window will be mental and top 4 will be even more tightly contested with Arsenal, City, Manure, Chelsea, Spurs, Pool. Chelsea and Pool should produce a much better showing next season.
Absolutely. If Ibra maintains anywhere near his usual attacking prowess, then I can see them getting close, definitely top 4. But Maureen has his work cutout trying to sort the LvGs mixed up team. The same goes for us, if we can manage to get in a **** hot striker then we would become contenders too. But that's a big IF, we get anyone in.
Drinkwater is nowhere near the required level, Henderson and Lallana are over-rated. On the plus side Stones like like a real Top Class talent. Personally, My England side would be.... ----------------------Hart/Forster-------------------- Clyne---------Cahill-----Stones---------Bertrand ------------------------Dier----------------------------- -----------Wilshere--------Ali/Barkley-------------- --------Sturridge-----Kane------Vardy-------------
Yes I just wish we could have got Ibra. He may be 34 but hes still a prolific goalscorer and quite an aggressive guy which is what we need.
Not sure aggressive is the right description, arrogant, confident are more like the words I would use. Many United supporters have said he could have a similar effect to Cantona (including myself), this has been perceived by many rivals as meaning in quality/style or general play, the actual meaning is instilling his mentality into the team (specially the younger players) which is "we (I) can win this, we (I) am better than them, in other words a winning mentality regardless of ability.
He's currently having a Nandos with Wenger. Rumour has it tthey'll be going for the full platter, extra spicy...
Cahill, Stones and Wilshere not good enough either. Wilshere is the most overrated English player of all-time.
Could get even worse for you https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/hot-football-transfer-gossip-ibrahimovic-linked-080227117.html And he has ruled out Malmo.
City to sign Gundogan from Dortmund - could be a really good move by Pep. As for Ibrahimovic, I'd like to see us sign him, I think he would absolutely dominate sat in front of Ozil. Really hope he doesn't go to Utd as he will take them up a level whereas currently even with Mourinho I think 4th-5th is there level. No chance he will go to Tottenham as his ego is too big. I could see him going to Arsenal, City, Utd or Chelsea based on there success as clubs but even then I could see him turning down any of them if he thought his chances of a league title weren't good enough in the next season or two.
Surely that's a piss take ? The Star claims Tottenham have swooped to gazump Man Utd with a “mammoth” offer totalling £9.1m a year for the 34-year-old striker, and they would even throw in Clinton N'Jie as his personal assistant
It would be great to see Ibra at Arsenal. Wenger should push the boat out and go all out for him, we would get at least a couple of good years from him. He is a genius striker and with the amount of chances we create (and currently miss) he would score for fun.
Yeah just don't see it happening though. I think Morata seems like a far more likely signing. Another interesting rumour is that Madrid want Aubamayang. Could possibly make way for a sneaky Benzema bid if that deal happens?
