For true supporters the `novelty` of playing at Wembley is secondary, the salient point being to SUPPORT your team.
Typical of City fans then. Can't see fans of other teams getting to Wembley & saying the novelty has worn off once they've been there a few times.
No but, much like us, most clubs don't have 40000 attending fans. I'd assume most other clubs plastics would have had enough too. There'll be up to a thousand or possibly more missing due to the Allams too.
With all the **** over the name change, forced moves to North, price rises, more price rises, removal of concessions, more forced moves, lack of club engagement, and seemingly the twatty aim of pissing fans off (even having Hull City Tigers on the ticket application) why is anyone remotely surprised that we didn't sell 30k. 26k is probably not far off double our average attendance.
I dont mind plastic fans at big games I remember travelling to Hull to watch City playing and my mam & dad were travelling to London to watch Hull and/or Rovers play at Wembley - they werent even rugby fans
I know some people that are going tomorrow who last went to a City game two years ago (The FA Cup final). But I don't mind that because: 1) They bought their tickets today after everybody else had their pick. 2) It's better than an empty seat.
