    I'm off to the England v Sri Lanka Test tomorrow at Chester-le-Street.

    Nope. Didn't know it was on tbh, plus I have to do some work tomorrow. Hope it cost less than the Ashes games at £80 a pop.

    Enjoy mate. <cheers>

    I have managed to miss the Test as we're arriving at a campsite near there just after the second Test. I was sort of hoping to go for one of the days but we've decided to pop into a small site in Bedale for a few days instead.

    You mean ban it from discussions on this forum or generally ban cricket across the world?

    Either way the answer is yes! :)

    Why don't they just have one go in bat? And one over per batsman

    Cricket is wonderful and even better way beyond the comprehension of the Americans, what better excuse is there for a day out doing nothing but enjoying beer, wine, food and the intricacies of bowling and batting, sadly won't be there but will be watching on Sky, beer and Chablis chilled, snacks arranged for a few days of blissful sitting around doing nowt.

    Course it is...

    <doh>

    How would he be able to explain a day out doing nothing but enjoying beer, wine, food to his wife if it wasn't for the cricket.
