The Wednesday fans will be easy to spot even without colours. They will be all giggly and excited about playing at Wembley. For City fans it will be just another important match.
Thought so. Its really not a tough gig is it? And none of this explains why Ticketmaster are now moving people when it's too late to sell the extra tickets.
Just spoke to my mate who is going with his little lad....they ordered tickets last Wednesday....none turned up. Have to go to Wembley and ask for re-prints. Why is being a Hull City fan always so difficult, be it our club, Ticketmaster, etc.....hope they get sorted and have a great day.
Statement From Ticketmaster Ticketmaster has had to make some seating changes for fans who bought tickets in Blocks 501 to 508 as well as Blocks 526 and 527 for Saturday’s Championship Final. This is so we meet requirements of the Football League and Wembley Stadium for a match of this nature, and to ensure the best possible atmosphere for all Hull fans travelling to the match. Ticketmaster has sent fans new tickets that are the same, or better, price and value booked. The tickets that were sent originally are now invalid and the barcode will have been deactivated. Please ensure these tickets are securely destroyed. Please take the newly issued tickets to Wembley Stadium, these will have been enclosed in the letter received on 26 and 27th May. If you have not received your new tickets for any reason, please contact Ticketmaster on 0333 321 3126 and we will ensure your new tickets are held at the East Box Office for you on the day. Alternatively go direct to the Box Office which will be open from 11am Saturday. We advise fans to arrive as early as possible with any queries. We apologise unreservedly for any inconvenience caused and please rest assured that we are doing everything we can to make sure the process runs as smoothly as possible for those fans who have been affected. I phoned. They tried to convince me that they weren't told the reason for the move. It didn't work. They said they'd moved to the same or better priced seats. I said that I may not have been willing to pay that price for the poorer seats. They told me to complain to: [email protected]
In the process of trying. It's been either engaged since 9.30 when I started, or the phone just cuts off.
It will be interesting to see if the Sheffield United fans rumour rings true. Guess we shall know when Hull City score then. Ticketmaster may need to think about a change of trading name by the sounds of it.
Ticketmaster don't seem to be getting any better, I'm aware of two groups who just received new tickets, both have received four tickets, but originally one had five tickets and the other six. Useless bastards.
So they basically told you to **** off? These clowns were recommended to the club by the FL? Frigging hell. They have ONE job, and the overwhelming view I have of them now is, they suck at it. A lot.
I'm baffled by how buying a ticket for a seat has turned into such a ****-cart - I've bought dozens of concert and show tickets via Ticketmaster and never had a problem of any kind. I can only assume that lobbing customer numbers into the mix has bollocksed their system.
It's **** all to do with that. A quick google shows they manage to **** up on all sorts of events. If they have a success rate of 95%, who gives a **** about the 5%? That's made up figures by the way, just to illustrate a point. They probably manage to get the majority of the tickets out ok for most events, but when they **** up, they're ****ing up someones big day. Do they give a ****? Guessing by the fobbing off Pete got, I'd suggest no.
