Reading have sacked manager Brian McDermott. Jaap Stam was apparently interviewed for the job yesterday.
Club statement... We would like to sincerely thank Brian for all his hard work since his return to the club in December 2015 and wish him well in his future career. The board of Reading Football Club will now undertake a rigorous recruitment process over the next few weeks to identify the right man to lead this club forward and into the 2016-17 season. Laughable, utterly laughable. What do Reading expect ffs ? 56 managers/head coaches(call em what you want) now make it 57 (and soon to be 58 ?) have been sacked in the past 15 months the LMA say. How much longer before OLM can start a thread for his mate Steve Evans doing one ?
I reckon it will be within a week, the dozy fat twat announced that he was expecting to win the league next season.
Possible - However, IF TWS get rejected by Bristol Rovers manager Clarke, Evans may hang on a tad longer.
It is a shame that we wont see Jose vs Rafa next season. The latter has a massive issue with the former, when he took over at Inter he ordered all reference to Jose's Champions League winning team to be removed from the entire club. He even made players remove personal memorabilia of it from their lockers.
Bristol Rovers @Official_BRFC CONTRACT: Darrell Clarke agrees new deal with the club!! More to follow online shortly.
FFS Davies grrrr. Yes Clarke. Anyhow, looks like Evans is hanging on a while longer then,. Don't blame Clarke for hanging with Brizzle Rovers at all.
Cellino's mental - “Ancelotti called me, 'Massimo, bring the club into the Premier League and I come to you.'"
