    Good Morning Everyone,

It seems Cellino may be thinking of letting Steve Evans go! <yikes>

The only real surprise there it that it has taken Evans this long to figure this out.

Yesterday Evans has a conversation with his 'advisers' to which he has let it be known :-

“I'm happy to step aside if the new prospective coach is one of the best around. The supporters of Leeds United, the best there are anywhere, deserve that.

"I'm confident I would lead us to promotion so I presume the remit is now to be champions."

After lots of press calls and a further meeting with my advisors it is very obvious the time has arrived for Mr Cellino to tell me I am not his head coach for next season.

“Out of respect for this great football club’s history, and to the Leeds United supporters, I’ll take that decision with good grace. This is a special club. It should have standards of excellence in everything it does.

“The task is huge next season. The Championship is stronger than the one about to conclude at Wembley (with the play-off final) on Saturday.

“In my opinion for the team to be successful next season the squad needs significantly strengthened in many key departments - this alongside ensuring our brightest young talents are secured for some years.

“Anyone not thinking that does not understand the challenge ahead. I presented these views to Mr Cellino just prior to the end of the season.

“I now need to accept that I open my mind up to other options for my career. Obviously I now need to know the direction of my career. In summary, I just need closure."

will Cellino be caught with another lie <whistle>

Says he will not hire a manager who has been relegated before,Yet Darrell Clarke was manager of Bristol Rovers when they got relegated to the conference <yikes>

Love Evans' comment in the opening post. "Leeds is a special team". He got that right!

Morning all... Seems Cellino didn't like the assessment Evans gave which I assume we all agree with?

Keeping our best young players in Cook and Taylor and a few decent signings...

Which bit didn't Cellino like to hear or agree with, keeping the young talent or having to splash out on a few signings?

It has been a long time since I disliked a manager/coach so much to start with and they actually won me over .There is a very good article on why Evans is better than Clarke and although he has been cringe worthy at times when ignoring the writing on the wall fact number two really stands out... He has a passion to remain with us despite the awkwardness of working under Cellino.

Cellino said he is inundated with options, he isn't going to make a mistake next time, we are in for "someone special" was his exact words and he has also said "after all the things the fans have said about me, now they will start to understand. Next year, we'll play football"... My oh my, he is going to be in for his biggest downfall yet..
