...this week in his post match interview. I got the news from twitter ( Jordan sibley) not to keen on sibleys wording though... Let me explain, 'Adkins ADMITS there could be transfer movement'. For some reason it feels like they are saying we are letting someone go... I think I'm reading into it far too much though. Hopefully it's us signing Gorks or a forward.
His words were "Adkins admits post match he expects some movement regarding transfers in this week" The word IN would suggest players coming to the club, not going. Although surely Mills and Punch will be off this week.
Adkins said after WBA match and after signing de Ridder that we will have another signing. Evasive about Oxo so let's all gird our loins on that one. Looks like the Riddler could do the trick for us, so we may not miss Oxo anyway.
We might be able to cope without Chamberlain, but I think it's pushing it a bit far to say we may not miss him. He's a quality, quality player and any side (certainly non-Premiership side any way) would miss him.
I've just listened to the interview. Adkins not only admits to transfer movements in, but actually says "over the weekend". So if something isn't officially announced either tonight or tomorrow, then at the very least that suggests that whatever is in the pipeline should move further along over the next 24 hours, and closer to completion.
