Mourinho is a brilliant football manager. He's extremely thorough, tactically astute and most importantly knows how to win when it really matters.
Love him or loathe him, anyone who thinks he's not going to make a big difference at United, is either delusional or has got rocks in their head.
I'd have been beyond delighted to have seen him at Goodison.
It's called fear, a bit like whistling in the dark or when passing a graveyard at nightI can sense you're reeling inside mate. I've never known you to post this much over something, even United!

I know what I've done in a graveyard once...she didn't whistle...all her own teeth....It's called fear, a bit like whistling in the dark or when passing a graveyard at night![]()
I love the fear Tobes. I'm reading some of the ****e being posted abd it's obvious they can't even convince themselves it's a bad appointment let alone anyone else.
Emery by an absolute street mate.So bookies favourites are
De Boer
Pellegrini
Emery
Which would you prefer Tobes?
Its a solid appointment, an easy choice though without much thought.
He obviously has a good track record in trophies, but long term it does nothing for utd, which is why I am pleased you signed him. Had you gone for someone like Simeone or Pochetino I would have been annoyed. Also I feel bad for the likes of Rashford who looked a really good prospect.

I wanted Koeman tbh as I thought he'd be a great fit for our club, but we've been speaking to Emery's agent today, so we'll see how that goes.
Pelligrini doesn't excite me and De Boer is a big risk given he's only worked in the piss poor Dutch league.
Was watching the Copa del Rey last week and one of the commentators said that Emry had expressed an interest in the Everton job.Emery by an absolute street mate.

It'd certainly be the kind of statement of intent that we're looking for, but I'm trying to not get excited by the prospect as it'll probably go tits up.....Everton that....Yeah...I think if you get him it'll be great for you lot....
I appreciate the lazy Skysports analysis lol. You're trying to convince yourself of all that but we both know it's wishful thinking on your part.
He must be interested, as we've met with his agent today in London. Was watching the Copa del Rey last week and one of the commentators said that Emry had expressed an interest in the Everton job.
He virtually guarantees trophies mate, who else who might have been available offers that? All that? The one point about there being better options than him? Just genuinely appears like there was barely any thought put into his appointment, or at least a lack of effort into weighing up several options.

What's he meant to say when asked that like?I thought he clearly stated he was happy at Seville?
Is this thought of as just a tactic for the money?
I mean... from the look of sevilla they have not been great and getting out now might be wise.
It is possible to be very happy somewhere but still take a good opportunity for change if it comes along.I thought he clearly stated he was happy at Seville?

Mourinho has wanted the United job for years.Actually think the LVG option was the mistake...listening to yet another Fergie plan: bring him in steady the ship and bring Giggs through. Now they have no choice..no more restarting legacies and all out for immediate trophies.
The gamble is which Mourinho they get...the driven but under control guy or the ego maniac that will ruin the dressing room in one year to add to his cv.
It will be interesting.
