What's happening to Cadbury's chocolate? The bars don't seem to last as long as they used to. About 15 minutes ago, I opened a bar of Fruit and Nut, intending to only have one chunk. Suddenly, it's disappeared! You haven't spirited it away to the IOW have you Fran?
I don't understand the concept of 15 mins in relation to a bar of Cadburys....are you sure you don't mean 15 seconds?
You need to savour it....nothing worse than discovering that you shovelled it in without enjoying it.
Well, I wouldn't say I DIDN'T enjoy it - it's just that it always seemed to last longer before ............. Or is that just an age thing?
The very lovely said to me that everything seems to have shrunk with time. Mind you I was about to put on my pyjamas at the time.
Would I? Oh OK you've got me. I was going to add something about dodgy eyesight in not noticing the size has shrunk but I was too polite.
Yep. Out safely. I was deep in blue territory and had a meeting with a Saints season ticket holder. I looked out their office window and pointed at a car with a Saints badge air freshener (not big enough to clear up that stench) hanging from a car mirror....and was surprised to hear it wasn't his. Two Saints fans at that company and I don't think either are popular. Brave lad leaving that in his car though
Hate hate hate technology. I spent 2 hours this afternoon on the phone to Samsung trying to get our sound bar working. We've had it 5 months and suddenly it has decided that it has done enough and is no longer going to connect with the TV. Tried to avoid phoning Samsung (who I had the misfortune to contact before) but got automatically transferred by the retailer to them. I then spent 2 hours trying to understand someone with a foreign accent speaking miles from her phone mouthpiece using technical jargon. She kept disappearing to talk to someone else. Outcome still doesn't work but they're going to send me a cable to upgrade my sound bar. Apparently instructions will be supplied........
Ah. I can't actually watch it having just read the book. Probably did this the wrong way round! The book is a different league and a million times smarter.
A book is almost always going to be better than a TV series, although Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell runs the book amazingly close, for my money. Then again, I haven't quite finished the book yet. It's huge, so I'm taking it in chunks. Can I suggest you leave the TV series for a long while and come back to it.? I enjoyed it so much I'm actually thinking of watching it again.
My techy guy is coming tomorrow to introduce my computer to my printer as they have had a recent falling out. I'm hoping he has lost the power of speech and will just go tappy tappy tappy....and it's all fixed.
Which one of you just made it to the front page of USA Today? http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...nal-park-thought-they-were-fighting/84939894/
